This fund is passively managed, directly investing in Solana. Long-term positions in Solana are secured via Coinbase, other reputable digital asset trading platforms, and over-the-counter (OTC) transactions. The value of these holdings is determined by the CME CF Solana-Dollar Reference Rate, a daily benchmark index that prices Solana in US dollars. To ensure the reference rate accurately reflects Solana's worldwide market value, the index computation includes a diverse range of spot prices from various geographical locations. This reference rate is calculated daily, based on trades executed on approved trading platforms between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM London Time. This one-hour period is divided into twelve equal 5-minute segments, each yielding a volume-weighted median (VWM). The final index value is the arithmetic mean of these twelve VWMs. Although the index aims to be representative of the market, its inherent volatility may lead to deviations in certain situations. Furthermore, shares of this fund are eligible for registered investment accounts.
