Invesco STOXX Europe 600 UCITS ETF (SC0C.DE)

Qué hace este fondo

The Invesco STOXX Europe 600 UCITS ETF Acc seeks to mirror the net total return performance of the STOXX Europe 600 Index, after accounting for associated charges. This benchmark index, stemming from the STOXX Europe Total Market Index (which is a component of the broader STOXX Europe Global 1800 Index), comprises 600 European companies ranging from large to small capitalisations. Its holdings are weighted by their free-float market capitalisation, with a single constituent capped at 20%. To achieve its objective, the fund employs a synthetic replication strategy. It maintains a diversified portfolio of equities, which, though typically not identical to the index's constituents, contributes the majority of the fund's returns. Concurrently, the fund engages in unfunded swap contracts with approved financial institutions. These agreements facilitate the exchange of performance disparities between the underlying index and the fund's equity basket. This synthetic approach is intended to provide a more accurate and consistent tracking of the index compared to relying solely on direct physical ownership of index components. It's important to note that while the fund aims to replicate the net total return index, the corresponding swap agreements are benchmarked against the gross total return index. As the swap fees are calculated relative to this gross index, the ETF's performance is likely to exceed that of the net total return index. This ETF is managed passively, meaning an investment represents the acquisition of units in an index-tracking fund, not direct ownership of the underlying assets it holds.
