This WisdomTree Exchange Traded Product (ETP), designated as Short JPY Long GBP, is entirely collateralized and qualifies under UCITS regulations. Its primary goal is to offer investors exposure to the performance of the Japanese Yen versus the British Pound. The ETP mirrors the MSFXSM Short Japanese Yen/GBP Total Return Index (MSCEGJS). Its total return is derived from the daily movements of foreign exchange forward contracts, specifically shorting the Japanese Yen against the British Pound, along with earned interest income, after accounting for all applicable product fees and expenses. To illustrate its inverse nature, if the Japanese Yen appreciates by 1% against the British Pound on a given day, the ETP's value will decline by 1%, before any charges. Conversely, should the Japanese Yen depreciate by 1% against the British Pound in the same timeframe, the ETP's value would increase by 1%, prior to fees.
