The iShares Physical Gold ETC exclusively holds bullion that meets the rigorous Good Delivery standards established by The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). In line with these prerequisites, the gold bars also strive to adhere to the LBMA’s Responsible Sourcing Programme, thereby guaranteeing that 100% of the gold backing the ETC was responsibly sourced as of March 31, 2022. iShares is committed to continuing its collaboration with its gold custodian to ensure that only gold mined post-2012 is allocated to the ETC.
