This R-Factor methodology evaluates ESG performance by considering a comprehensive array of financially material metrics, designed to pinpoint long-term sustainability drivers across environmental impact, human and social capital, business model integrity, leadership quality, and corporate governance. Additionally, the index implements stringent exclusions, avoiding companies associated with extreme event controversies, controversial weapons, violations of the United Nations Global Compact principles, civilian firearms, thermal coal extraction, and tobacco products.
