It mirrors the MSFXSM Long Euro/GBP Total Return Index (MSCEGEL). The overall return encompasses the daily fluctuations of foreign exchange forward contracts, where one is long Euro and short Pound sterling, augmented by interest income, after accounting for all product-related fees and expenses. Illustratively, a 1% appreciation of the Euro against the Pound within a single trading day would typically translate to a 1% increase in the ETP's value, prior to any charges. Conversely, a 1% depreciation of the Euro against the Pound over the same timeframe would lead to an equivalent 1% decrease in the ETP's valuation, before fees.
