Fidelity Advantage Bitcoin ETF (FBTC.TO)

Qué hace este fondo

This fund allows investors to access the price movements of Bitcoin, expressed in Canadian dollars. When shares of the ETF are acquired, the capital raised is utilized to purchase Bitcoin through Fidelity's designated liquidity sources. The value of the ETF shares is determined by compiling Bitcoin prices from a variety of platforms. Once obtained, the Bitcoin is securely stored with Fidelity Digital Asset Services, acting as the sub-custodian. Holding Bitcoin within an ETF framework offers a more streamlined method for both owning and transacting in the digital asset. However, shareholders cannot exchange their ETF holdings for physical Bitcoin. While the price of Bitcoin fluctuates around the clock, trading of the ETF shares is confined to standard exchange operating hours and their specific listing mandates. Bitcoin is part of a nascent and quickly transforming industry, subject to numerous variables that are challenging to evaluate. Historically, Bitcoin has displayed significant price volatility and might not be suitable for every investor.
