Global X Canadian Oil and Gas Equity Covered Call ETF (ENCC.TO)

Qué hace este fondo

The Global X Canadian Oil and Gas Equity Covered Call ETF (ENCC) offers an equally weighted investment in prominent, highly liquid Canadian enterprises operating within the crude oil and natural gas sectors. Its core objective is to generate income through a dynamic covered call option writing strategy, which has historically shown potential for enhanced yields, particularly in volatile market conditions. While this method can naturally cap the potential for significant capital appreciation, it is designed to deliver a consistent monthly income stream alongside opportunities for long-term growth. ENCC strives to mirror, net of expenses, the performance of an index comprising Canadian oil and gas companies (currently the Mirae Asset Equal Weight Canadian Oil & Gas Index) and aims for at least monthly distributions derived from both dividends and call option premiums. This active covered call program is also intended to help mitigate downside risk.
