It employs a "best-in-class" environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, removing firms from the investment universe that rank in the bottom quartile for their sector-adjusted ESG scores. Furthermore, companies involved in controversial businesses, those with severe ESG controversies, or those violating the UN Global Compact are also excluded.
