This Invesco S&P 500 Scored & Screened UCITS ETF (EUR Hdg acc) is engineered to replicate the net total return performance of its designated benchmark, the S&P 500 Scored & Screened Index (referred to as the "Reference Index"), after deducting fund expenses. The Reference Index utilizes a market-capitalization weighting methodology and aims to capture the performance of companies that adhere to specific sustainability criteria. Importantly, it is designed to maintain industry sector weightings broadly consistent with those of its parent benchmark, the standard S&P 500 Index. The index's construction prioritizes a risk and return profile similar to its parent, while simultaneously enhancing its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) characteristics. This is achieved by systematically excluding companies involved in: 1) Business activities related to tobacco, thermal coal, oil sands, small arms, military contracting, or controversial weapons; 2) Practices that violate the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC); or 3) Having an S&P Dow Jones Index ESG Score that places them in the lowest quartile within their respective GICS industry groups. The index undergoes annual rebalancing. To achieve its investment objective, the fund primarily invests in a diversified basket of equities, which typically generates the majority of its returns. However, the exact holdings of this basket may not always mirror those of the Reference Index. To ensure precise and consistent tracking, the fund also employs unfunded swaps. These financial contracts, arranged with approved counterparties, enable the fund to exchange any performance difference between the Reference Index and its physical equity holdings, thus facilitating a more accurate and stable replication than a purely physical investment approach. It is worth noting that while the fund's aim is to track the net total return of the index, the underlying swaps are linked to the gross total return index. As the swap fee is calculated based on this gross return, the ETF's performance may slightly exceed the net return index. Additionally, the Fund Manager may receive an annual contribution of up to 0.050% of the swap notional value from the swap counterparties. This payment helps offset certain fund operational costs and does not affect the Fund's Net Asset Value (NAV) nor does it represent an additional expense for investors. This ETF adheres to a passive management strategy. An investment in this fund signifies the acquisition of units in an index-tracking fund, rather than direct ownership of the underlying assets held within the fund's portfolio.
