It tracks the FTSE 250 Daily Short Strategy RT Gross TR Index (MCXI1X), engineered to produce a total return that is precisely negative one times the daily performance of the FTSE 250 TR Index. This return also accounts for relevant fees, as well as the inherent expenses and revenues associated with short-selling. For example, should the FTSE 250 TR Index appreciate by 1% on any given day, the ETP would typically depreciate by 1% (prior to fees); conversely, a 1% decline in the index would generally lead to a 1% gain for the ETP (before fees).
